Gary Neville believes Manchester United have become the worst team under Ruben Amorim and warned the Portuguese boss it cannot continue like this.

Sunday’s 2-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace saw Amorim’s United return to where they once were, having won three straight against Rangers, Fulham and Steaua Bucharest.

It was the fifth league defeat in seven games at Old Trafford since the 39-year-old took charge, and their fastest home defeat in the top flight in their history.

Neville believes the pain will continue for Amorim. His เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย players and United fans until the end of the season.

“I think it will be better with Ruben Amorim coming in, his enthusiasm and the new system. The players will accept it and we will see a recovery,” he told Ufabet Sports.

“But we’ve seen the exact opposite and it’s gotten a lot worse. And that’s the surprise.”

“There will be a lot of pain at the end of the season and it’s a shame because they’re obviously committ to Amorim. But the more you lose, the harder it is for the manager to convince the players of his idea.”

“In the beginning he said, ‘I’m not going to change my mindset’ and you want the players to accept that. If they keep losing and they keep getting criticise and the attention gets on them and the fans get upset. You know it’s going to create a feeling and you can’t keep losing.”

“You can’t do that. It will depress the players’ minds to the point where they will start to lose faith in the idea and it will have a negative impact on you.”

“He can’t change his approach now because he’d rather die than die. But he’s lost more against Manchester United than he’s lost against Sporting in the last 75 games, which is shocking. So he’s not going to enjoy it.”

“It can’t go on anymore and they have to start playing better. Because it’s a sad situation when you watch United play.”
