Daniel Olmo has recovered from injury and is set to return as a substitute in Thursday’s Copa del Rey trip to Valencia.

Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has confirmed Daniel Olmo is available to return from a calf injury, but Pablo Martin Paez Gavira, or Gavi, will miss the game after sustaining a head injury in the latest game, Mundo Deportivo reported on Wednesday.

Olmo has been out with a right calf injury since the 1-1 draw at Getafe in mid-month and has missed the last four games, although the 26-year-old midfielder is set to return, although Gavi is still out with a head injury he suffered early in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Alaves.

‘For Dani, we’ll see. He’s an option for the เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง second half. For Gabi, the protocol is like this. He won’t be available tomorrow. We have to look after him. The injury he got is very serious,’ Flick said.

The German coach elaborated on Olmo, saying: ‘Dani has shown in many games how important he is for us. He scores goals, he knows how to keep the ball. Having a player like him in the team is important, but we have to look after him.’

‘He has been injured a lot but we have to play him. We have to be careful. We have to know how he feels so we can adapt. He is very important for us.’

Asked whether the form of Frenkie de Jong could mean Marc Casado will play less, Flick said: ‘You always compare players based on their position, but it’s not like that. We have a game tomorrow and another one on Sunday. We arrive early in the morning and I need all the players.

‘I’m happy to have options. Frankie is a great player, but so is Cassado. It doesn’t matter who I choose, the important thing is the team.’
