Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has confirmed new signings Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso are ready to make their Carabao Cup debuts against Liverpool on Thursday night, but Mickey van de Ven is set to remain out.

Van de Ven returned to action against Elfsborg after seven weeks out with a hamstring injury but missed Sunday’s 2-0 win at Brentford.

Postecoglou insists Spurs will remain cautious สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน about Van de Ven and Cristian Romero, who have not played since December 8 with groin injuries.

“Matis and Kevin are ready to play,” Postecoglou said.

“With Mickey and Romero still out, I feel like we have to be more careful with them.”

“In my view, we are not going to take any risks with them. We are going to get them back to full training and make sure they are ready and have no problems.”

On Van de Ven playing against Elfsborg but then missing the win at Brentford and the upcoming game against Liverpool, Postecoglou added: “He came through the game without a problem, but the Premier League is a completely different game and after we lost Radu (Dragusin) I thought about what we had to face.”

“Hopefully we’ll get to the Carabao Cup final, hopefully we’ll get to the FA Cup final. I don’t see any reason to take any risks.”

“Having Kevin in is a big bonus. Mickey hasn’t had a re-injury or anything, but I think we need to give him and Christian more time.”
